| Fall in North Georgia |
 |

Georgia's northeastern mountains are part of the Blue Ridge range, a spine of the Appalachians, which runs from Virginia through
North Carolina and extends for almost a hundred miles into Georgia. In the fall, thousands of people make this highland region
a favorite destination—where hiking, whitewater paddling, breathtaking vistas, and traditional crafts and foods like candied
apples are all accessible and provide entertainment for the whole family.
